A US Pub Now Accepts Dogecoin

A US-based pub The Lost Leaf is another food-related business that started accepting Dogecoin as payment. The Lost Leaf follows in the footsteps of Burger King and MrBeast Burger, the two businesses that showed an interest in the coin.

The Lost Leaf Shared the News on Twitter

The Lost Leaf shared the news on Twitter, promoting Dogecoin and inviting its customers to scan a QR code to pay with their crypto wallets.

Shibetoshi Nakamoto, the Dogecoin founder, welcomed the promotion and stated he would love to stop by the pub.

On the other hand, Nakamoto also spoke about McDonald’s Dogecoin refusal. He noted that those who wish to spread the word about Dogecoin should remain cool. Nakamoto pointed out that nobody likes jerks and invited the community to chill.

However, Elon Musk was the first to invite McDonald’s to accept the coin. Musk promised to eat a Happy Meal on TV if McDonald’s received Dogecoin. Still, the only two companies that reached out were Burger King and MrBeast Burger.
With the latest cryptocurrency market development, chances are more businesses in the food industry will start accepting Bitcoin and other digital assets as payments. In the meantime, the Doge army is hoping for the best.
