LeBron James Partners With Crypto.com to Teach Kids About Digital Assets

The Los Angeles Lakers star turned towards his partnership with Crypto.com after the company purchased rights to the team’s arena. With LeBron’s I Promise School, about 1,600 kids will learn how digital assets can change their lives.

The Education for the Whole Family

Moreover, LeBron stated that this education initiative would extend to the whole family. James noted that blockchain technology is revolutionizing multiple industries as well as how people interact with one another.

This is why he wants to ensure that some communities aren’t left behind.

This deal follows the Crypto.com acquisition of the naming rights to the Staples Center in LA. Once Crypto.com paid $700 million for the venue, it was renamed Crypto.com Arena.

This acquisition ensured that Crypto.com remained active in its brand promotion and, at the same time, educated its users about the importance of blockchain technology.

However, this platform is not the only one targeting athletes. Crypto derivatives exchange FTX has partnered with Tom Brady, Stephen Curry, and Shohei Ohtani to promote its services.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Crypto.com and FTX would advertise during the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 13.
