Gap Launches Its First Gamified NFTs on Tezos

NFTs have taken the world by storm, and retailers are not missing a chance to profit in this niche. Recently, clothing retailer Gap announced its first gamified NFTs. The collection will be designed by Brandon Sines and built on the Tezos blockchain.

Brand Will Offer a Limited-Edition Hoodie

According to Gap’s statement, the retail company will unveil a gamified digital experience by offering a limited-edition Gap hoodie.

The designer will be Brandon Sines, the person who created a famous character named Frank Ape. Gap’s NFT collection will be built on Tezos blockchain. Tezos blockchain utilizes an energy-efficient approach to secure the network and operate with minimal energy consumption and a low carbon footprint.

Within its first phase of launching an NFT collection, Gap will offer the tokens for just $9. The digital collectibles will launch in four stages – common, rare, epic, and one of a kind. The common NFT category will go on sale first, with the rest of the categories getting launched in the next two weeks.

Gap’s digital collection also includes a gamified aspect which allows users to unlock the chance to get an epic NFT that contains a limited edition art and a physical hoodie.

Gap’s Chief Product Officer, Chris Goble, also stated that Gap is excited about this opportunity and collaboration with the artist.
